i think thats what ur ur now puts at 4ohm is it i dont remember
yea it does but what do u guys think would be the most you would put to this sub becouse from what i am told of eclipses quality they could handle more than the recommended rms

 
i think we missed the point he has a dual 4 ohm sub, and that amp is a 2 channel amp. the amp is not 2 ohm mono stable, so in order to not fry the amp rigth away, you would have to run the sub to one channel of the amp for it to handle a 2ohm load. best best would be to bridge it, and run the sub at 8ohms mono. that would be your best option, or grab another sub and run them both at 4ohm mono bridged off the amp.
