Ground the 2nd battery back to the first battery and ground the amp the second battery. Also fuse the power wire between the two batteries.

ok, ill do that stuff but since my car batt is grounded to the chassis will i have to take that off or can i just add the 2nd battery to car battery ground connection in addition ?

fuse within 18" of the front battery, and within 18" of the back battery... fuses can get pretty expensive fast... i ended up having to use 7 inline 250a fuses in my system.. thats over $140 in fuses alone.....

Leave to stock wiring, add to it.

Yep it work! make sure you run 1/0 gauge from the 1st battery to the 2nd battery.
