will this work for ground

Im trying to ground my kinetic 2400 to chassis, its going to go to my seat bolt which is only abot 4 inches away from the - terminal on the batterty. I cant get 0 awg to bend like i need it to once i put the ring terminals on. Would it be ok to take a piece of steel pipe, flatten it with a hammer, bend it into a 90 degree, drill some holes, and use it as a ground instead?

grounding to your seat bolt has always been a bad spot for alot of people. try and find something better if at all possible

well i tried running a piece of wired without terminals and it seemed to be fine, i just dont know if a piece of steel will work as a ground

as a ground, sure. FYI they sell 90* copper wire lugs/ ring terminals. try delcity.com (use google, not sure on the exact site), they might have them

Copper would obviously be the better conductor but possibly not required and overkill.

if ur refering to me i have 4guage rockford wire.....i just stripped it alittle further then normall and wraped that round the bolt and put the bolt in!
