just add a batt for nowRight. Thats what I'm afraid of. It's not really that I'm worried about the warranty its that my dads paying for the truck and he's very scepticle about putting a system in there and when I'd mention anything about the electrical system he gets mad and says you can't touch it, it will void the warranty. So I'm either looking at a different route than the big 3 or nothing at all...which I don't think is such a good idea
I thought of that but I've never really understood how that was actually done. Could I get a small kenetic or optima battery to just run my amp? And how does that battery tie into the rest of the electrical. Does my alt have to charge that one seperatly?you could add a second battery. If anything happens to your car and for some reason you need to take it to the dealer, i would detatch the second battery before they start pointing fingers
just run your power wire to the batt like you would if it was the amp and then run from the batt to your amp and ground the batt and a wire from the batt to the ampI thought of that but I've never really understood how that was actually done. no, you just hook up wire from your first battery to the second battery(kinetic/optima).I thought of that but I've never really understood how that was actually done. there is a lot of run there it should go finei guess you could do the big3. If you need to take it back to the dealer for whatever reason, just detach the three wires.... and your all set.....
lets just hope it's easy under the hood......
