1st post here and would like some advice, i would like to add a sub to my current system,
Pioneer DEHP 7400
JL Audio C2-600 components
JVC CS-V 6937 6 x 9's
Clarion XR 2420 amp
Alpine SWS 1023D sub
Alpine MRP M450 amp
i just picked up this sub today, new $40, so i couldn't resist, and thought i could make it work with my set up, i don't have a box for it yet, but came across a JL slot ported BassWedge box for next to nothing(sub has a hole in it), will this box work good with my alpine sub/amp combo, it will be in the trunk of a 69 firebird, i mostly listen to rock, metallica, ac/dc, etc etc, the amps will be mounted to the back of the seat frame, and i would like to put the sub box centered in the trunk and as far toward the back seat as possible, sub would be firing to rear of car. Will this sound ok or?????? All advice/input would be greatly appreciated.
