Will this Eclipse work?

So I'm looking at an Eclipse CD8445 to replace my fried Pioneer. It has 8v preouts, and I will be hooking up a Diamond Audio D5 300.2, wich accepts up to 5v. Will this hurt anything? should I get a deck with lower voltage?

Nope. You're fine.

That voltage specification is at max volume with 0db source material.

With music at normal listening levels, you won't be anywhere near 8V.

I used an 8053 (which also has 8V outputs) with an old school amplifier that had a maximum input sensitivity of 1.5V and never had a problem.

You will be fine.
