I wouldn't trust an alt brand I'm unfamiliar with. In due time should you buy it, and is out of warranty, bam your out 200 bucks then your fucked.

What specific vehicle is it for? SUV's typically carry a fairly high amperage alt. Yous may be fine, but your experiencing other issues. Also....the big 3 will be very helpful in your situation.

 
Some of the lesser expensive brands would be Custom Electric Services (facebook only), Excessive Amperage, and possibly Apex.

If you're on a tight budget I would ask them first.

Don't buy an ebay alt. We know how they perform and quite simply they don't.
