Hey do you guys think this will work solid even though some frays are not touching metal there at the top??Or, do you think I should just flip the connector over????? Or should I slide the rubber up and electric tape the exposed wire behind it??THANKS

if it's crimped tight it will be just fine like it is. maybe slide that sleeve down towards the bolt. otherwise it'll be aight

It appears to be alright. Good job clearing paint away from the body. If you have any issues you could go back and make a more secure ground connection by soldering. But good job.

As long as the crimp and bolt are tight you're fine.

you wont have any issues out of it as long as it stays tight and cant arc.

best bet would be to put some thread lock on the nut.

if the nut is tight and the wire is tight in the terminal you aint got shiz to worry about. it doesnt need covered either because its a ground. so unless you touch it with your positive wire it is fine.

YES, here is my thinking....first, I'm dumb! (please like my post for this alone, because most don't admit this...)

Second, in the pic below you can see were the ground currently is and the screw it is on does go directly to the floor. HOWEVER, between the floor and this is carpet and the piece the ground connects to only touches the floor at the one spot near where my foot is. SO, if do you notice the bolt near the seat belt? This also comes directly from the floor, so should I just sand here and cut through the carpet to create a proper ground?? Also, the only nut/washer for this bolt connected my jack--so I just need to add an extra nut/washer here so I don't have to worry about the ground moving if I need to use my jack?

You are referring to the bolt near the seatbelt I described?? Or, where it is currently hooked?

Sorry, I'm not sure what that means? If you look at the pic there is a bolt coming straight form the floor should I directly ground there?
