Will a JL 500.1 mono original slash series be enough to power a 15" L7 dual voice 4 ohm wired to 2 ohms and still hit hard?

A little short on power but if you build the right box(efficient), it could work out. Do you already have this equipment?

it should be just fine. a little underpowered, but okay. Jl amps put out the same power from 1.5-4 ohms so wiring configuration doesnt really matter too much
