Will there be any difference?

I'm running a HDC315 on a AQ 1200D right now.

I had a 4 gauge amp kit for it, running 17 ft. of 4 gauge to a dist. block then a foot of 8 gauge to the amp. And I was running it from a bolt off the fuse box.

I've done the big 3. I'm in the process of changing it to 0 gauge and running it off the battery to a block then a foot of 4 gauge to the amp. Will this help the amp a lot or will it be noticably different?

x2 I always over wire my stuff.

IF your amp was being underpowered due to resistance in the smaller wire, you may have some more output.

If your lights were dimming, that MAY go away.
