Will there be a noticeable diffrence?

Ok, first off ive got everything in my sig. I was wondering when i send my SX 12's back to RE to get configured to a dual 4 ohm instead of a dual 2 ohm speaker. With my amp being wired to ! ohm after this is done, do you think it will be a noticeable diffrence in performance rather than my previous setup of a 2 ohm load setup. @ 2 ohm i believe the amp is rated at 1800 rms and at 1 ohm its like 2500 rms. i know im not putting out that much probably about 150 less on both. But do you think i will notice a diffrence with the same box and everything? Im debating on sending my subs back to get configured to a dual 4 ohm or not. And i know i should be using the most potential of my amp at 1 ohm so thats y im wanting to configure them to dual 4 so i can unleash more more from my amp

i didn't think it was rated even that high at 2 ohm i thought it was 1600 or something but im probably wrong. I think you would notice 700 more watts but the real question is it worth the cost and time of sending them back?

yea ur probably right on the fact of 1600 watts at 2 ohms. It would probably be better for me to just sell them and get like a single MT or 2 XXX. i dont think have enough room for those new XXX's cause i see the pic in ur sig and they seem to have some depth on them, they need some clearance from the back of the box to the back of the speaker, i need to see some specs i dont know.
