will Kenwood changer work with other deck?

hey, i'm trying 2 peice 2 gether my system and currentley have a kenwood deck and 10 disk changer, i was wondering if ne 1 knows if another brand of deck would work w/ my changer? i kant use a kenwood deck because i need front, rear, and sub outs and they dont make decks w/ sub outs, only rear/subs ao if some 1 kould please let me know im getting kinda desperate and reely dont wanna buy a new deck- thanx

The only way to use your existing cd changer with another brand cd player would be to buy a seperate kenwood modulator/controller for the disk changer and run it that way. Allthough keep in mind that when you do this you will also cut down on the quality of the sound.

thanx, but my changer isn't modulated, i dont think i kan buy a modulator either, i hear a alpine or clarion deck might work w/ it, but thats y im seeing if ne 1 knows 4 sure

i dont think it will work with other brands. you r forced to use an fm modulator most likely.

What model of cd changer is it?? Have you checked the Kenwood site for any technical information or installation guidelines that may be available?? No one would know Kenwood equipment better than Kenwood.
