That is one of the gayest things about those trucks. My friends has an 02 reg cab and he doesnt even have the console. Just a bench seat with something that you would think would fold down.Which it doesnt. But he has two of my old truck boxes behind his seat. His shit sounds good.

how about 2 sealed boxes, one behind each seat? or maybe u could fit a ported... do some measuring and let us know the max dimensions for a box you'd be willing to put in

Yeah, the nonsliding console is a pain for fitting subs.

For sealed enclosures, Audiobahn shows a range of .5 cf min to 1.5 cf max. 1 cf per sub might be a good number depending on what kind of power your giving them. Ported, they recommend 1.8 cf not including the port or sub displacement. If the mounting depth on the subs is shallow, you should be able to get them back there sealed but you might lose a bit of legroom in the process.

lol thought sum1 would find it funny, umm there audiobahns 12inchs @ 1 ohm, 700 watts a peice, they were upgraded 2 @ 1 ohm btw. Budget... well jus give ideas. sealed will actually do best unless any1 has anything to say about it.
I had 1 1200q I thought they were 700rms at 2ohms....

I did a custom box for a friend couple months ago, i wnet ported on it for 2 12" l7's that shiet banged hardcore, i i went ahead and used aeroports for that set-up and it sounded hella loud, but i used alot of space so we had to move the seat a ll ofrward but it still was nice, i am around 6 feet tall and i still feeled good inside of it, believe me, i have a ranger with one ported sub behind my seat, and thats not comftrable, but i like how it sounds and so does everyone else so i have it like that, ive done several ported truck boxes, i can probably help you out, I did also a custom ported truck box for an audiobahn ill get ya pics and help you out if ya want.

here check the links of my 2 first ported boxes for trucks.
