Will I hear a difference?

I bought JL XR650 components for one of my cars but harpooned one (ripped 2" of the surround out of it, d'oh!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif )

Now I have a new car, and theres "no way" I'm fitting 6.5's in there(" "meaning, there probably is a way I'm just not going to do it) so I bought JL VR525 comps for the front and VR525 coax's for the rear.

With 3, 10w3's in the trunk.

If I hooked the cross overs of the XR650 component set upto my deck(eclipse CD7200) and just ran the tweeters in the top of the rear A-pillars, would I hear a difference?

Ifso, a great enough difference to actually take the time to do it?

Do you mean the B or C pillars (between the doors or by the rear window)? If so, don't do it...it'll pull your sound stage towards the rear more than the coaxs already will and really screw up imaging. Try it without first, then go from there.

Yes, the C pillars near the rear windows. Accidently put A.

Still standing with my recommendation to not do rear tweeters like that. That's purely my preference, so take it as you wish.
