Will i be under powering my Tempo 6's?

With a Sundown 100.2? When i bought them id thought theyd be a great match cuz ive heard the 100.2 is a lil underrated and the Tempo 6's ask for 120w rms. But after looking around some more i see that the tempo 6's a WAY underrated and people give 200+watts to them.

hook them up, if it's loud enough than it's loud enough. if not, upgrade your amp.

don't put too much emphasis on the number of watts.

Also, the 100.2 does over 125 watts per channel.

Yeah, you should be fine. Those Sundown amps are underrated.

agreed, too many people look for and rely on numbers. it does what it does. thats why all the os audio companies had to switch their ratings and we can thank all those great companies like pyramid, targa, boss, jensen, etc.

i bet there are more people that would take a 1500w sony amp over a 400w os us amps vlx 400 without looking at them and they had a choice of either for free.

Its not that i just looked at the numbers. A lot of people said that they like to give them 200 watts or more. And yea i know the 100.2 is a lil underrated but its still not 200 watts. I just wanted to make sure i wasnt under powering them too much. Im sure their gonna get plenty loud for me as ive never even heard component speakers on an amp before.

They may be running 200 watt amps to them, but there is no way they are actually running 200 watts to them, that would be deafeningly loud and would blow the drivers.
