noob question.HELP

so i bought a 4runner from a guy mabey like 3 days ago and there was no deck in it just speakers.i hooked all my shit up and there is no sound commin from the rears just the front two.i heard there was a factory crossover or some shit thats connected to the rear speaker and i should just hardwire them straight to the main run.

so i pop the rear apart and there is one for each speaker.a little box with some other shit on it.

one of the speakers in the rear were a nice infinity and the other was stock.

the infinity was 4 ohm and the stock one was a 2ohm.

could this be what caused them to stop working and shit out?

and could i just wire two 4 ohm speaker up to the main wires straight to the deck? i have some kickers right here

any help would be great.thanks

That doesn't look like a crossover to me...

And yes you can just wire the speakers to the deck. Assuming you are talking about a aftermarket deck.

so id be fine wiring 2 4 ohm speakers up to it and bypassing this thing?

they had one of those in a titan i worked on i think they were for the fade adjustments....
