Will i be louder?

Hey guys, so basically im looking to be louder then the "baddest" guy in my neighborhood.... This guy has Two JL 12W3V3's in a sealed box in the back of a chevy blazer, theyre both sharing a single JL 500/1 Amp for power and you can hear this guy comin afew blocks out, also he says that he's hitting a 140+ on the TL

Now being that i wanna pull out all the stops and hammer this guy into the ground, heres my decision. 06 15" L7 in a big ( around 5 cube ) Ported Box tuned to 32Hz, and probobly a Hifonics Amp, ill probobly juice it with 1200 or so rms, i dont wanna go overboard

whos got the cake, also im in a trunk car not a open air cabin like a blazer?

not sure if a bigger box will sound louder from "far away" but someone might know.

also tuning a box lower will give that effect that you want.

I picked 32Hz because it will still be "loud" in general, but still be tuned low enough to slam the 20hz notes like soul survivor / young jeezy, etc

18" RE MT on 2 Crossfire vr2000's in a folded horn enclosure tuned to 20htz should do the trick...

Lol, Watch out you may be surprised how much of an advantage over you he has since he has a blazer while you have a trunk car. Might as well got 2 MT's with 4 crossfire amps.

i'd personally go with 2 l7 12s... that single 15 may have a little problem keeping up

When I had a 15" L7 in my car it was doing 140 in a 6.5 cubic box tuned to 40hz. It had 1100 watts on it.
