Hello all and thak you in advance for any info you can share here. I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner, The factory raido/cd/tape, player is going bad, I want a in dash CD player and I also have XM satalite in it. What I would like to do is add an decient CD Am FM with Xm capabilites in dash receiver, bearing in mind that I just got a years worth of XM and knowing that I need the $100 kit for that, I would like to know what some of you recomend for a system including front,& rear speakers, that install into the factory systems, I don't think I need an amp, and I also don't feel a sub is nessary. I would like to keep the price of everything including install under $700. Can this be done or am I just an old fart trying to be cheap?? I am interested in all opions and suggestions. Again Thanks for your imput. JLH

yes, it can be easily done. start with your headunit and work from there, since your budget is limited, i would shop online, easy to compare everythings features that way also, just get the best u can afford that also incorporates the features you are looking for. good luck

so you are looking for only 1 head unit and 4 speakers for under $700? if so that can very very VERY easily be done. unless you want to go with components and amp them it would be a little more expensive but still easily done.
