will compression drivers work in a 2007 tahoe?

i'm in the market for a new car. i totally dig the newer body styles of the tahoe. they drive sweet and actually get decent gas mileage. the problem is i don't think horns will work in this suv. the dash is kinda low and i think dash isn't even on both sides. if this want work... what cars are better sutible for full size and mini horns?

with the dash like it is i suggest mini body horns as for the height diffrence because of the blower on passenger side you may have to adjust mounting height but i'm almost positive it can be done. it'll just be fun doing it.

I have some USD horns with ID CD1 drivers on them. I could send you to try and see, just make sure they find their way back. But if it would help, its cool with me.

that may help him out but the usd horns are alot larger then the mini horns but i guess that would work for him to test.

i'm thinkin he's thinkin of the blower motor that seems to be the killer for horn mounting lol

The blower motor is in the way in virtually every modern vehicle.

i don't know why i didn't think of this but i should've took some pics and made some measurements while i was in the car. does it matter if the dash is low and the seat high for imaging?

no that doesn't matter. the way the horns work it uses the dash as an extension of the horns mouth.

ID's horn dispersion pattern works best in an up-firing direction. So yes, ideally the horns should be low. How low, or how blocked by your legs is acceptable, is however the million dollar question.
