Will all of this go together?

OK I want to know if all of this stuff will go together and work properly. My system is going to be two Kicker CVR10's (2 ohm versions), 2 channel Power Acoustik TS1440-2 amplifier, and wiring kit with 8 gauge wire. Will all of this stuff work together? How should the amp be wired to the subs for 2 ohm's? Thanks.

What is your RMS at 2 ohms from your amp? Your amp puts out more power at 2 ohms so check that along with your speaker RMS rating. You will want your amp to have somwhat of a higher output than your subs so you can adjust the gains accordingly.

ok a DVC 2 ohm sub can be wired down to either 1 ohm or 4 ohm. With a pair you can wire them differently into one channel on your amp giving you more power. There is a website that has many different sub wiring configs.

If the sub isn't 2 ohm stable mono (it probably isn't) and the subs are 2 ohm DVC, then you only have one wiring option: wire the coils in series and wire one sub to each channel. You will get whatever the 4 ohm power per channel is to each sub. No other way to do it with that sub and amp combo.
