Will a cd changer affect SQ?

This might be a silly question, but bear with me ... I have an Alpine CDA-7897 head unit which I'm very happy with. Now, if I add an Alpine CHA-S634 6-cd changer to my audio setup, will that affect the sound quality?

Meaning ... will there be a difference between a cd played from the Alpine head unit and one from the cd changer?

u mean the cd quality, n not the SQ which is overall sound - from speaker n everything - but if u connect the changer directly to the hu thru its changer connection u wont lose much.

maybe if u connected using an RF modulator i think they called, then maybe. but still not that negligible.

Ah, yes, sorry about the mix-up. As far as I know the changer can connect directly to the HU through the Ai-NET port ... so I guess it'll be ok. Thanks.

My changer sounds better than my HU. It also skips alot less.
