Will a Alpine SWR 12d4 fit into a JL Audio 12W3v3 high output box?

Hello all, as the question states I was just wondering if a Alpine 12" Type R will fit into a JL Audio W3v3 high output box. The mounting depth for the JL is about 6 3/4" or so, and the Type R is 6 3/8. So it seems it should fit since it's mounting depth is less, however I noticed that the Type R is a bit bigger around the magnet, so now I'm not sure. Has anybody tried this combination? Thanks
