will 2 batteries give me 14 volts

i have a memphis mojo powered by 2 memphis pr 1000.1's wired 2 1 ohm and only 1 battery in the rear for the setup i still have some dimming but nothing major but my question is if i were to add another battery would i have 14 volts and should this stop all the dimming i know the big 3 is a major help but this car isnt that important to do that

from what i see, its kind of a hit and miss situation, either if works or you need to do more, inevitably alty upgrade is the best solution with the addition of deep cell batts

you could have a thousand batteries and still have 13 volts, what you would need is a ho alt with an external regulator then you could crank it up to 14 or 15 volts.

i think what he is saying is his voltage just isnt staying up. not exactly 14+ right?

honestly my voltage varies regardless of a system, could be 12.5 one sec and 14.7 the next. i know this because i ahve no system right now and a volt meter on my dash

if its an older car then most likely yes. if not by the harness of one not built for the car speicifcally.

with 2 batteries in my work truck, they are at 13.4 volts. just installed some of the wiring for the snow plow today.

So Either Way You Look At It Its Still Gonna Give 13.5 At The Most Without A Ho Alt

HO or not it depends on what your vehicle is regulated at.Some are lower then others.As long as you don't have a big drop from 13.5 then you should be fine with what you have,maybe add another battery.
