Will 1 kicker KXA24001 amp be enough for 3 type R 12" ?

the amp says it will do 2400w x 1 at 1ohm so that should be about 800w per sub right. There dual 4 ohm subs that I'm gonna wire to 1ohm. In a ported box. Or if anyone has a better suggestion on box or amp.

Three D4 ohm subwoofers won't wire to 1 ohm. Hope you didn't already buy that amp because $900 for a 2400 watt amp is insane as well as not ideal for your subwoofer setup.


Taramps Smart 3 or MD3k 2 ohm version is what I would recommend.

No I haven't bought the amp get I'll check out the taramp that you suggest.im looking for a h.o. alt to for a 94 explorer any recommendations?
