Wii Vs. Ps3

I prefer the 360 to both, but I don't "hate" any toys or entertainment devices made. I'm looking to get a PS3 for my birthday soon, so we'll see.

i have both.

i left my wii at a buddys for about 8 months and it was great when everyone was hammered at 4am and playing bowling and such. zelda was also pretty **** sweet.

i mostly watch movies on my ps3 these days and i havent hooked the wii back up since i got it back.

i agree with one of the earlier posters saying wii is a great secondary console. its got some cool interesting games and the ability to play all the old shit ( which is awesome) from the past consoles/sega

ps3 is easier to get but is pretty ugly if you have nice tv room and arent looking to clutter.

id say wii if you can find one, otherwise ps3 if you are not a patient person. (i knew people who worked at target so i got 2 at once a couple christmas's ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

forget them both and do like the guy that works at gamestop says, get a 360 elite. bigger hard drive, unparalleled online play, better graphics, more better games, and you can get lots of cool add-ons that fit the things you do with it.

i always wanted "more better" games,

unless u have kids or a wife/gf who plays games dont get a Wii, they are fun but to the 20+ yr old guy a ps3 is alot nicer....not to mention MGS4 comes out in a couple weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Even if you have the blu ray player, which you said you do, I would pick up the PS3 or I would even take the xbox 360 over it. I have both the 360 and PS3 and overall like the gaming expierence with the PS3, although their game selection is so-so, but getting better.

Fiance's newphew has the Wii and is ok, but only for a littl bit.

I've got a Wii myself. It's good for when you have other people to play with, but the other systems are easily better for single player.

People need to get the good games for the Wii. All of the shelves are filled with shovelware bullshit. I dare someone to find a game with better level deisgn in a platformer this gen. Ratchet and Clank come close, but no cigar. Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda. I'm not saying it's better, but I don't think people are giving it credit based off appropriate games. Feh.
