i guess it didnt interest me too much.... to me it seemed too much like another hellsing or trigunhaha what for? good series.
of course, but good graphics always is a + //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifits not always about the graphics. video games used to be made to have fun playing..............nintendo has, and is doing this today. Nothing has to look like a real person from arm pit hair to sweat, if your having a blast playing.
I'm not saying that the Wii is superior to the competition in graphics processing, I'm saying that I'd bet money that the different we will see on-screen will be neglegible between all 3 consoles- just like before.developers, even nintendo themselves admited that the graphical power of the Wii will be inferior to the rest of the next gen competition.
i dunno man....i doubt you will be able to play "Gears of War" or "MGS4" on the Wii as smooth as the 360 or the ps3...if you look at even Twilight Princess on the Wii, it looks good, but no better than RE4 on the GC although game designers have yet to use the full power of the Wii. Nor have they been able to use the full power of the 360 which has MUCH more GPU capability.I'm not saying that the Wii is superior to the competition in graphics processing, I'm saying that I'd bet money that the different we will see on-screen will be neglegible between all 3 consoles- just like before.
Besides, I'm buying a Wii as well. Finally I'll be able to play the classic N64 games without the constant fear of wearing out the analog joystick! =)
virtual console companies:Here’s a breakdown of Wii Channels, the browser of sorts you’ll find when you power on the Wii console. There are several different “channels,” each suited to serve a unique gaming experience. So far there are a total of 48 channels, and increasing the amount of software in the system allows even more channels to become accessable.
Disk Drive Channel:
Like the title implies, this channel shows the current disc in the drive. Use it to start up either your Wii or GameCube games.
Picture Channel:
Here you can manage uploaded pictures which are saved on an SD Memory Card. The Wii-mote allows for easy navigation through the files, not unlike a computer mouse — just point and click. A cool feature will also allow you to manipulate said photos by use of virtual paintbrushes and paint buckets. A slideshow mode will let you view your masterpieces in a professional light.
Internet Channel:
Access the Opera web browser through this channel. Like the DS version, you’ll be able to view web pages as if it were a computer screen. However, unlike the DS, the Wii version supports Flash. Navigating is quick and easy thanks to the remote, which you’ll also use to zoom in and out of a page. The browser will eventually cost money to use, but until June of 2007 Nintendo is letting us have it for free.
Weather Channel:
Like your ordinary weather station, but without the talkative host. It’s a free service that only requires an internet connection to bring you daily weather reports in your region. By using the Wii-mote, you can also play around with a 3-dimensional globe to pinpoint certain areas and see the different weather patterns.
News Channel:
When you access this channel, the latest news will be at your fingertips. Naturally, it requires an internet connection to be readily available in order to send information. It’s said to have "functions indicative of a game machine," and the ability for users to change the font size for easier reading.
Avatar Channel:
As the name suggests, here you can create your very own character (called your “Mii”) to represent you online. Choose from multiple styles of faces, hair, eyes, and other features to make a unique look for yourself. Your Mii is used in sports games, and can be transferred to a Wii-mote for portability.
Along with this extensive list is the Virtual Console channel, which we already know allows us to access 20 years of Nintendo’s glorious history. Something we didn’t know about is the Wii Channel Interface, which is basically a message board that allows family members to leave notes for one another, not unlike that of notes on a refrigerator. Because the Wii uses of SD cards, you’ll be able to upload photos to attach to the body of the message. The service also makes use of WiiConnect24, so that the people you’ve exchanged friend codes with can see your notes as well.
Overall, the Wii is shaping up to be an incredible system, unlike anything we’ve seen before. With so many options available to us right out of the box, players are undoubtedly going to have a great time customizing their Wii as they see fit. With features such as news and weather, it looks like Nintendo will reach that goal of having people incorporate the Wii into their everyday lives.
Earlier this morning in Japan, Nintendo held a press conference for Wii just like what was hosted in New York by Reggie Fils-Aime in America. During that conference, a listing of all the major players onboard with the system's Virtual Console interface were revealed. So within a year after the big North American launch, we can expect to see classic software from the following companies:
*D4E
*Atlus
*Bandai Namco Games
*Banpresto
*Capcom
*Chun Soft
*Enterbrain
*HAL Laboratory Inc.
*Hudson
*Irem
*Jaleco
*Kemco
*Koei
*Konami
*Masaya
*Net Farm
*PAON
*Rocket company
*Sega
*Taito
*Takara Tomy
*Tecmo
*Sunsoft
*Square Enix
As mentioned in a previous report, all titles will be downloaded using Wii Points. NES titles will be 500, equivalent to $5, SNES games are for 800 points, or $8 and N64 classic software will run 1,000 Wii Points, or $10. Wii Points cards will be onsale at retailers, so they may prove the perfect gift for the gamer that wants to play classic games they missed out on. Also, keep in mind that VC isn't all just about classic software, as all new games may be made specifcally for it since lesser-capable software is cheaper to produce. Finally, a new console has been announced for VC support, and that happens to be the MSX arcade system.
I have Madden 2007 for ps2 and it definitely lags unlike previous versions of Madden I've had, but works smooth on the 360i dunno man....i doubt you will be able to play "Gears of War" or "MGS4" on the Wii as smooth as the 360 or the ps3...if you look at even Twilight Princess on the Wii, it looks good, but no better than RE4 on the GC although game designers have yet to use the full power of the Wii. sports games are a good example of differences between the present gen consoles. Madden 2xxx runs much smoother and the graphics are more defined than say the PS2's or at least i can tell the difference if put side by side
honestly, if Kirby superstar is up there for 8 dollars, it would be worht every penny...So you have to buy the old games through online? Regardless, I'm buying one.
i was talking about PS2 vs Xbox 1st genI have Madden 2007 for ps2 and it definitely lags unlike previous versions of Madden I've had, but works smooth on the 360
