As stated, those basket spacers are completely pointless since there are vents on the basket. And put undue stress on the basket itself.

Just because some people use them on certain types of woofers doesn't mean they are useful on everything. Save the money and time it takes to use those spacers and go back to the (perfectly fine) way they were before.

i started using spacer over 5 yrs ago and until the last yr they have gotten really popular. reason being you can see the coil thats it. i refuse to use them for that but instead for clearence or cooling.

its a marketing ploy as all, next maybe flames on the baskets? lmao
