Wife buying husband system=CLUELESS please help

Hi im buying my husband things for his system for Christmas. He already has a 15' mojo in a box but I want to get him more subs and i guess the other stuff that goes with it? Im not as dumb as this post is already making me sound lol but im just not sure what he needs or where to start. I have gotten 25ft of 0 gage wire. He has a US amp i dont know the details of it but could find out if needed. He has a lincoln navigator also if that helps. He used to have 4 12's that were insane and thats what he's wanting again. Just obnoxious bass. Any help would be sooooo much appreciated, Thanks guys!!!

Well u need to know what amp he has because some amps are 2ohm stable and some are 1ohm stable... And then you need to find out if the mojo he has is d4 or d2 ohm and we can go from there

Need to know how much you want to spend, what electrical upgrades he has in the truck (if any), for example extra batteries, aftermarket alternator, etc.

Do you or he have the tools and ability to build a custom box? Odds are if the sub he has is in a prefab box simply buying him a custom made box would be a dramatic difference.

just out of curiosity, what brand wire did you get?

Also what does want from the new system ? How much space is he willing to give up ? If he doesn't want to do any electrical upgrades. Except an extra battery in the rear and a new one up front. Then 2000-2500 rms will be what you need to look at. With that said. The subs 1000-1500 rms each you still need the 0gauge wire and a big 3 kit. Now for the doors components will be what you want don't expect to spend $100 on a set and them to sound great more like $300 a set to start. Also the doors will need to be deadened as well as the roof if you go bigger on power hope this helps. And like said I can help you or at least steer you towards good products at good prices

His speaker is d2 ohms and i dont know what this means but hopefully you do lol the amp is a U.S.amp MD41 4 x 60W @ 4 ohms

4 x 80W @ 2 ohms

2 x 160W @ 4 ohms bridged (THD:

He is willing to give up allll the space lol thats why he got the navigator. I was looking at door speakers but didnt know if i should go with the Component or coaxial? I dont know what deadened means but if your talking about the tar looking stuff i did get that.

It's a rubber butyl material that helps seal the doors to make the components sound better. I'd recommend a pair of 15s or 18s for the truck

Im not 100% but i think the m3. I want to just get the subs he has before with the 15 he has now. He had Kicker solo x's. Could i do 2 12's with the 15?

I might be able to sneak one later, hes at work right now. Its as wide as the back of the truck and just freaking huge lol. Thats as best as my dimensions guess goes HAHA!

Is it the strips of stuff and its like a foil that you peel off and its black? Thats what it got.
