Why do car audio companies make different ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif wouldn't it be more logical to have all Sub woofers at, lets say 2ohms. and all amps the correct ohms for that spec'd sub.

The reason that is not the case is because there are people who run multiple subs and speakers. An amps output (unless regulated) will different on ohm load, and this allows people running multiple and different subwoofers to pick and choose and have lots of options to run what they want, and how they want to run it.

 
no, cause not everyone uses the same number of subs, so theyll get different final impedances

i like that Fi makes dual 1 ohm and dual 2 ohm subs, since most of use use between .5-4 ohms, i think its smart
