Why won't a head unit fit?

Ive been looking online for the perfect heatunit, and i really like the panasonic cq-c1333u but crutchfield says it wont fit.... which doesnt make sence since its a 1DIN player and i dont have an amp right now, so why wouldnt it?

its a 1997 toyota camry le... with a single din radio/cassette

I thought all i'd need is a harness

All you should need is a harness, it should fit.

Don't listen to crutchfield... according to cruthfield, my friends car uses 4.5"s dorr speakers, but it's actually 6.5"s. They're full of $hit, it will most likely fit.

maybe if its too deep. but i doubt that.

I believe you car can even fit a double din. my 96' camry can.

When i get it, its just mix and matching the colors from the heatunit's harness to the toyota harness i got off ebay?

crutchfield has yet to be right on any of their suggestions on 5 of my installs...

as for the head unit it depends on what you already have, but at most you'll need an "install kit" (if your camry is double din) and a wiring harness. 1DIN can go in anything with the right modifications.... if your car was shaft style you'd have to do some cutting though...
