Why the heck happened to Indoaudio?

I sent them a moneyorder for an amp and today i went to ebay and Indoaudio is no longer around? What the heck happened to them and is my money gone and is anyone else getting ripped off by them?

FWIW, I got this e-mail from them yesterday because I pulled a n00b and bought from them (first and only time)...

Now I didn't write that so spare me the flaming about their service & what not.

As to the question someone else posted as to why they are hated so much, I dunno but they have pissed off many a people on this forum, to be sure. To be honest, I think they try to do good, just may be in it over their heads with the volume they do. And running as thin a margin as they must to be the cheapest around, it is logical that they would have customer service issues.

All that said, from here on out, I will pay a little bit more to go with a seller that does not have the logistical problems that these guys seem to have.

It's worth noting that not only do they have a lot of negative feedback, but they have just as many "mutually withdrawn" feedbacks meaning other people that gave them negs to begin with but retracted for whatever reason. I am sure it is safe to say that each of those were problem transactions as well.

Oh and in sending that e-mail they did a stoopid by putting all the recipients addresses in the "To:" field thus committing a violation of privacy of my information. I was feeling pissy so I wrote them and they came back very, very apologetic as would befit such a grievous error, so I give them points for their contrition. I also sent a message to all the recipients encouraging them to complain and HOLY CRAP, they got some loyalists. People hate Indoaudio because they lie. They lied to me for about 2 weeks trying to stall me so they could ship my stuff out. They gave me $20 store credit after I asked though (always do that when a company screws up ).

Some of the reasons they stall is there products go to a build house where serial numbers, warranty cards, and birth sheets are removed.....I got them to admit that one time in an email about a year ago when I threatened them with a law suit...

why do people try to defend a company that clearly (as documented by the BBB, and this fourm in proabably 30 threads) cannot keep from lying about their inventory, not corresponding with buyers / potential clients properly, and blatantly cannot get their head out of their *** on a consistant basis. There is plain fact, Indoaudio is a shady company that will do anything to weasle out of its responabilities and lie consistantly to its customers. If you want to defend that, that clearly shows what kind of an individual you are to begin with.

I got majorly ****ed over by Indoaudio. It was my first purchase off of Ebay. I bought a Kicker 1200.1 and it was DOA. I sent it back to them under their so called "warranty" and never heard a word. I went through months and months of arguing with them asking them just to send me the broken amp back. They refused to fix it or send it back. I went through all the Ebay channels to complain and nothing ever happened.

That was my first and last purchase off of Ebay. I know many people use it with lots of success, but you have no recourse if something goes wrong. So Indioaudio can go toss a salad.

Im not defending or flaming them. Ive dealt with them 2 times, and both times I got exactly what I ordered and had no complaints. This time they took a bit longer than usual and so they gave me a store credit. But whatever, makes no difference to me whether ppl like or hate them, I got my shit, thats all I care bout...lol...and the reason i was pissed was ur little "asian" comment.

Those countries Muslim population is not as proportionally high as that of India. The Muslim population of India is 16.4% as referenced by wikipedia. The country mentioned in your list with the highest percent of Muslims is France, with 6.3% of the population being Muslim. You are correct that Hiduism is the primary religion of India, but there but the Mulsim population there has much clout.

Know im gona explain why you cant relate islam to these countrys. Even though western europe has the biggest population of muslims, it is not fair to label them terrorist because they are not muslim countrys, they are mostly catholic countrys were catholic culture is prodominent and they are catholic ruled. India must also not be thrown in the terorrist soup because they are a 80% hindu country, 890 million hindus in india its hindu prodominent, were hindus are in power, were hindu culture is prodominant. America is an american country(christian if you get specific) with americans in power.
So in western europe worst case 3 out of 10 people are muslim(guessing) and in india 1.6 our of 9 are muslim, so what does that tell you ? in western europe 7 out of 10 are catholic or what ever else, and in india 8 out of 9 are hindu of from another religion. Now here is a muslim country iran. Iraq has a 92% muslim population , islam is prodominant , muslims are in power(or pretend to be). Now go down some moonshine and hurry before the rodeo ends.

I could find no evidence claiming 30% of western europe is Muslim. Not even 10% of Western Europe is Muslim.

In-store "credit" for a store that doesn't exist is pretty worthless, wouldn't you say?

IndoAudio doesn't (and hasn't in a great long while now) meet my own personal requirements for seller positive feedback percentage so I've never been willing to risk any $$$ with them.

It would appear that such a thing was the wise decision in retrospect...
