Why Sundown?

ED is generally crap. Has been for a long time. Crappy products, poor service. You get what you pay for. Like comparing Kraft Mac and Cheese to Wal Mart brand, the cheese looks like the wrong color and it tastes like crap, but hell you saved a quarter.
lol

Well from what everybody says, sundown products are really good. The other thing is that Jacob posts on the forum and excellent customer service. Thats what really that drives the product to be sold.

FUCK eD. i had about 5 subs from them and every one of them has had a issue with glue. dustcaps falling off surrounds coming unglued etc. Then when i sent my sub back to eD they had it for 6 weeks because they could not "find it"..... then wanted me to pay 1/2 shipping.

FUCK THEM

flexability, dependability and customer service. drop that 9.1 to 0.5 ohm and see what happens;) you almost never see Sundowns going in for warranty, even when they are run out of spec.
plus Jacob is just Sexy!!!!!!!!
This. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

cause sundowns too are rated at 12.5. warrantied 2 years and you can get one for half price after that if you break yours. and jacob is pretty **** helpful with anything you might have to ask him.

i understand sundown makes quality products but why are they the supreme amps of the forum?
i would think the ed nine.1 is the best amp you can get.. i understand that if you need more power then getting the saz3000 is understandable.. but why would u ever get a saz1000, 1500, or sae1200 when u could get an ed nine.1 at a lesser price and the ed nine.1 does more at 2 ohms AND they were rated at 12.5v compared to the sundown's 14.4v AND you get a 5 year warranty with the ed nine.1

not hating on anyone im just wondering
sundowns rated at 12.8 bro

didnt think about that.. so im guessing the nine.1 is just 1 ohm stable and sundowns are .5?
on sundowns site it says 1 ohm stable.. but are they ok in .5?
yes they do fine at .5 ohm. the only thing they say is if you tend to get in a habit at running them like that time will soon start to break down the amp as far as its efficiency n shit, then the amp could get poopoo like. but sundown hasnt had a big problem with that yet so.

im just talking about the nine.1.. ive never seen anyone unhappy with that amp
I dont know i guess you could look at it many ways. Ive never personally owned either product but i know that about 1-1.5 yrs ago nine.1's were extremely popular on the forum, and in my opinion you hear more people selling their sundowns than their nine.1's so sounds to me maybe people are happier with their nine.1's....

like i said i dont have a preference either way but thats just what ive seen around the forum.

Yep I had the same problems with my eD subs, then it took 6 - 7 weeks to fix because "the glue was on back order" I will say that my 13Ov's sound awesome, take 1000 rms each and for the $75 apiece brand new that I paid was hard to beat. Too bad their cs sux so bad:thumbsdo:

on sundowns site it says the saz's are rated at 14.4.. sae is 12.8
go look up the tests on SSA.com, I don't give a **** what the specs say they put out way more than specs anyways;)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

guys are selling and trading up, usually to bigger or newer sundowns. I have seen lots of guys selling nines to get sundowns, but have yet to see anyone that sold a sundown to get a nine or any other ed amp for that matter.

A while back some one asked pretty much the same thing. I posted if I had a choice I'd go with Jacob. because all you have to do is post and he is on it for you.

He posted within 10 minutes.
