Why shouldnt i purchase a 9833...

i think you should be fine with it... all the people who have the 9833 here have said nothing but positive things about it.

the hard to read in broad daylight comment was a rare find.

9833 is just awesome...buy it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

if your talking a bout an alpine yeah mines hard to read somtimes in the daylighht but the amazing features make up for it plus mines on a weird angle and if that one is like mine then u can change the angle therefore reducing the glare

I bought my 9833 about a week ago. 299 shipped from crutchfield. Also included for free was vehicle specific harness, vehicle specific inserts, pockets or whatever you want to call em. DIN removal tool (not that I needed them but hey it's free) and a wiring guide. It isnt really hard to read in daylight it just doesnt look as clear and crisp as when it isn't direct sunlight. Buy it, it's a great deal and a hell of a head unit.
