dude im the same way....i got str8 A;s my whole life and almost str8 A's freshman year in highschool.....now im a junior and im failing 2 classes.....but then again i do go to one of the best schools in the nation....top 1 percent of kids in this nation graduate from my school...along with one of the highest average ACT scores in the nation.....yea i would love for someone to try to prove me wrong on this one!

You have to look at what you're doing poorly in. Find someone to help you with it. So what exactly are you having problems with?

Because if you're not keeping up with the courseload in HS, frankly, you're going to get stomped if you decide to move on to college in the future...and now's the time to fix any problems before college admissions boards start looking over your grades and passing you over.

If you consider high school the "good ole days" then you need to change something about your current situation. High school is a joke, regardless of how much fun you thought could be had at 17 years old.

Just because you have responsibilites doesn't mean you cease the ability to change the situation you're in. It's all dependant on how badly you want things to change for the better. It can even lie in a priority shift.
