why is it reading 8ohms

Separates DC from AC.
AC current sees a capacitor as a short (Piece of wire) (Only at high frequencies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

DC current sees a capacitor as an open.

When reading resistance with an ohm meter, you are reading the DC resistance of the circuit; however with a coupling capacitor on the output, it should read open.

My Lanzar reads open on the outputs as well.

well it reads 1ohm with amp off with amp on it reads just below 8ohms

then it is the amp's resistance....still set at 1ohm

ok one more question what hz tune should i set my gains too its a sealed box

and do i mess with my subsonic filter or leave that alone

set within the amp's range 40 or 50hz would be fine
