why is it bumping so loud?

The ultimate problem with a squared wave signal is it may not allow enough cone motion to properly cool the motor given the power input, due to the 'flats' in the waves. Its explained in detail here if anyone is interested:

But, a 100 watt amp, even clipped badly, simply wont put out enough wattage (read: heat) to burn up a sub rated for 16X its output.

alright.. well after my first and last day of using this amp with the sub. i see that it dint do anything to my xxx. my xxx took it like a champ... all that 100+watts.. ha the amp is rated 100 at 4 ohms and its not 1 ohm stable.. well the kicekr amp took it. cant wait to hook up my 2400db power akustik amp tommow..
