Why is an HDC318 cheaper than the HDC315??

I put mine in a 14 cubic ft box tuned to 38hz on a audiopipe 3000, I'm waiting on my batterys to get here before I take it out of the garage but I did turn it on 4 about 30 seconds the other day and them things got crazy low, I can't wait to get these things broke in a see what they will really do

I dont listen to much rap though, Im a rock guy, but i like crazy bass and kick drums.

Ive got my aq's now tuned to 40-41, and they sound pretty good, but I cant play the song "put on' or white girl for crap

Im curious what a "low' tune box (with mach 5 18"s) might sound like, or if the AQ HDC's @ 38ish hz would sound better on my music. 4 15's is loud. But I think there on there last legs, one is making mechanical noise, and they get smelly pretty quick now adays.

Ive also only got 3000-3500 for power

why just not trying to tune your sd2.5s a little lower. I had pleasing result at 36hz.

My vote still goes with the HDC3 18s... Why the change in amp though?? Your current one would go perfect w/ the AQs.

hmmmm, debating pulling out my wall and putting 2 of these in 14 cubes with 3 8" aeros
Problem is the new MJ18M is coming out and 3 of them is only $450 shipped....

That was also the old MJ, the new MJ is much different, although I dont know the 'rated" xmax
