instead of complaning about gas you should complain about how much you pay for car insurance.

i dont know about you, but i drive a sports car and only pay 85 a month in insurance full coverage. one tank which lasts about 1 week costs almost 50 bucks. so gas, at least for me, >insurance

I also heard somewhere that they are going to run out of oil by the middle of the century. I dont think it is true.

the easy to get to supplies will go away eventually, but then the harder stuff will be cost effective to drill. Ex deep ocean drilling, under ice caps? Encana has bought the world's pimpinest platform. i think it can drill in water 10k feet deep. yes it floats.

I work about 35 miles from where I live and gas is a real kick in the a**. I have been working there 6 years and really dont plan on quiting because of gas prices. Luckily it is a good paying job that I can afford it .

we may (/should) be weined off by then, but the developing countries will just be getting started with their oil craze. Look at china.

Well then let them deal with all the issues of being dependent on foreign oil. I'd think that when the wells start to run dry, oil will be too expensive even for developing countries. It would be worth it for them to change over aswell, plus, considering the major car manufacturers will likely ALL switch to non-oil cars, it wont leave those countries with much of a choice, for cars atleast, the major use of oil.

Holy shit, not only does it look like a big Johnson but inside it is a ski resort of some sorts. I totally want to hit that up!!! Just not going to the land of no return to do it. Crazy shit mang, kinda made me chuckle a little.

Oh yeah, this gas shit is crazy! I had to get rid of my 1994 Thunderbird with a garret supercharger on it because I was going through so much gas. I think I was getting around 11 gal/mile. Sucked ***, but was fast.

I highly doubt that Engineering Masterpiece is even barely effecting our high Gas prices. We have grown so dependent on it that the demand is becoming so high.

And what happens when demand is so high and an import like oil is scarce?
