Why don't you compete?

My main reason is money. Not much to be done to address that. Materials cost, and you have to put out the money to get the good stuff.

I'm currently in a budget hole here, where I'm debating about whether going to moderately cheap dedicated midbasses or one small subwoofer, since I already have a 4 chan budget hifonics amp I could bridge the second two channels of. Not much of a system that can compete. I'm looking at a friend who has dozens of amps, good ones, and might sell them to me cheaply - but that's still a pretty penny, when you add in the subs needed.

Second reason I see is that there isn't many shows in the KC area. I'd be more proactive in getting some started, but I figure it would be a bit odd to do that when you are running a bass system off of hifonics and midbass drivers.

There are a ton of Usaci shows in the KC area. Usaci used to hold their world finals there. As for the money and being on a budget, that's why we are asking these questions. We hope to convince the powers that be to create a class or set of classes for the budget systems that are out there and don't think they would be able to compete with what they have.

I only went to Two shows This year. The one we sponsered and one other.

I had my wife run the truck at the other one, I still have never been in a comp.

The main reason is the local shows are on Sunday now, and We keep Sunday as a family day. Saturdays my wife works so I have both kids most of the day.
