this season will be my first time competing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif hopefully bass race 139.9 and maybe spl for street c at a daily box lol, street c will just be for fun.

I Compete and sure might make a trip or two to TN this year to hammer on the MECA guy's some, just a 10 hour trip from Texas, to bad you guys dont have any shows in Memphis sure would be closer... = D

not many shows in my area. there are a couple that will pop up here and there, but I dont really like to drive for an hour or more to get to the comp. rich kids have mommy and daddy buy their systems and everyone else thinks they couldnt compete because they arent as loud. they dont understand that competitions are broken up into classes and most of the time would not even be in the same classes as the people much louder than them.
Theres atleast 1-2 shows every month in Ga //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

There will undoubtedly be more shows added to the MECA calender. We might even do one or two here in Clarksville this year.
It's about the same distace to Clarksville as it is to Murfeesboro, should be fun anyway's if I can time it right with work to make a few shows.

I never hear nor can find any that are close to where I am located.

As far as competing goes, I just keep my style at a loud daily driver. All my friends and their friends tell me I have the loudest car they ever heard. But the thing is, where I live not many cars have systems so they can't compare my car to others. It's like a rare occasion/sighting if you see/hear a car with a system around here. So it's basically like I'm only one whom everyone knows has some sort of setup in my car. I don't even consider myself being proud of owning a "loud" car title where I'm from since I'm like the only one I know who has a setup.

I've been to one competition just to spectate. It was way back before I even was into/knew anything about car audio. And from what I remember, those vehicles were d*** loud! My car is a loud daily driver, but I don't think I can compete with any of those.

I've been down south for a while and I hear and see many cars with systems (almost every other car it seems like), way more than where I live (up north). It seems like everyone down south has/had some type of system, so I guess it's normal. But none have really stood out to me as really loud daily drivers. Maybe it's not turned up loud when I hear them or something, not sure. But I bet there are ones out there that get loud and I just haven't heard them driving where I am.

I'm thinking about moving into SQ phase just to give it a shot. I'll see how my budget goes the next month or two.

The satty will be ready to compete soon, but for atleast the time being Im keeping my setup tuned nice and low for daily driving and seeing what I get, not letting competition dictate the sound of it (tuning high is for fegz! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)...

Bring shows around Michigan!!!!!!!!!!

I think there are 2 db-drag events here every year iirc. One of which is like 2 hours away, the other ones just over an hour and I usually try to go to that one.

Hell I would host events all summer if I could.

i havent competed in about 5 years or so. it seemed to be more fun back then than it is now. it seems(here in fla) now a days if your not running sundown or dd or fi ect., or if you can get to 145+bd, then people seem to think you eaither have crap equipment or your sound just sucks. these are the type of vibes i have gotten at the last few shows that i have been to, allmost like" if you aint loud, your just shi#."

iam more into the best sounding, takes up the least amount of space type systems and if it gets good and loud dooing so, well thats a good by-product.

its easy to hit 140db, but do it with one small sub, one amp and in less than 1.6 cu ft box while still having over half the cargo space and looking and sounding accurate all at once.

thats what iam into but iam polish so go figure.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
