My lows are like non existent anymore. I remember when i got the sub and all that, the lows were loud and made my *** tickle and now its like they aren't even there. Only way to make the lows even semi louder is to turn the low up on the headunit but that makes everything sound like shit.

My question is what should i set the lpf on on the amp. Its at 50 now the lowest it will go..

i run my subs 50-60 down, running it higher is if you have ***** door speakers

been ther, done that, no easy answer. I just bought a whole new set up/. But I have noticed when the weather changes,if you have a ported box, the output is less, or maybe a little muddy. Rainy days in the southeast = poor bass for me. Clear crisp fall days = 100% bangin. No scientific proof for that, but thats my experience with dissapearing bass.

50hz is pretty low, you're limiting more than you think out of the sub range. Unless, like others have said, you have a goodish mid range.

Try 80...and I don't think a little bass boost hurts, as long as you KNOW you aren't clipping your stuff. I THINK if you're powering your subs at their RMS, you can probably play with the bass boost a little to your liking...as long as you aren't clipping. If your amp puts more than the RMS of your subs, then you probably wanna stay away from the bass boost.

do you have a subsonic filter? and if so set that ***** lower cus thats what it sounds like the problem is to me.

after a while 500rms doenst seem like much

then 1000rms is nothing

you just build a tolerance

Also, try some new music, the excitement of hearing new music with nice low end is amazing
