Why don't I hear much about Ample Audio?

I got offered one of their Exonic subs today and after doing some research I haven't found much info on AA. I've heard of them before but I didn't really hear any good or bad about them. I did a search on here and found mostly amps, but still not very much info.

How are they in general?

Anybody ever owned any of their products? Specifically subs?

I know they sell them at some shop locally, thats about it.

really low end that got expensive and everyone dropped them. local shop brought them in as a cheap alternative to jl and diamond but ended up costing the same.

One of the vendors I still deal with carry them and they are cheap to buy. Maybe dealers are marking them up tons? I did have a Double Din unit that I bought for like 380.00 that I gave to my secretary bnib and it had no sound right out of the box. So I would never use their stuff. Just my 2 cents.
