why does my 4 12"s not loud at all?

i have 2 soundstream SPL 400w RMS and 2 volfenhag 500w RMS n a BOSS power drive 4000w amp on my marquis but its that loud as other systems

ur prolly clippin the shit out of that amp makin the bass all distorted and the subs won't move as much with a clipped signal compared to a clean one is what i'lm guessin is your problem. or just a shitty amp and subs

to the op, if you've seen other people's setup before did you ever wonder why they all stick with the same size and sub?

give us a budget you got to work with and im sure alot of people here can help you pick out a system to your liking
