why does my 4 12"s not loud at all?

i have 2 soundstream SPL 400w RMS and 2 volfenhag 500w RMS n a BOSS power drive 4000w amp on my marquis but its that loud as other systems

idk what else to say but get rid of everything and start over. it could be the shitty products used, the mismatch of subs, and judging by the lack of intelligence in your posts, it could be a poor install. it also could be the cars and position of the woofers, or they have better equipment then you, and are smarter then you. i mean there are so many things

Oh god... ya, basically do what he said. Sell/junk everything you have now. It's all crap. Forget everything you knew in the past and start reading the forums, ESPECIALLY read the sticked threads at the top of each forum. They contain some very important information on car audio and you'll learn a lot from doing some research.

keep the soundstreams, built a proper box for them, get proper power to them, and then install it properly.
