it's ironic, you get window tinting to protect against people seeing your ****, but the people with tint are usually the people with something to hide in their car, thus making themselves targets at the same time.

I disagree with that. I know quite a few people that have tinted out vehicles that don't have anything to hide.

I would normally do it anyways at like 35% and just risk it, however I know far too many people with 35% that have been pulled over and got a ticket for it. Tickets I can afford to pay, insurance rates after tickets is fvcking insane.

ive never went and got windows tinted...i have a camaro with tinted windows and that ***** is hard to see out of at night....it's pretty dark tho....

My Honda is pretty dark now actually... My Dad got pulled over driving through Utah one time and the High Patrol was gunna give him a ticket cuz his windows where to dark... My Dad flipped and told him to fvck off cuz he wasnt driving around the state just cuz his windows are to dark hahaha

Tint tickets aren't moving violations so your insurance won't go up.

That's one thing I'm pretty leery about. Illinois is pretty tough with tint, from what I've heard. You can go as dark as you want on the back windows but you can't have anything on the fronts. Living right by Chicago, I frequent Illinois. Hopefully I'll continue to not be harassed while I'm driving there because I'm from Indiana.

Pretty sure another state cant impose their tint laws on you if your state of residence "legally" allows it and theres where it was tinted at.

I don't think they can either, but they try to. I know people who have been pulled over for it before. I bet a ticket like that wouldn't hold up in court though.

Well, I've decided on 20%..Wanted to stay w/35 all around now that it's legal in illinois but it would've been too dam light with biege leather and a sunroof.

I told myself over and over ima try and do this car 100% legit so It kinda *****. The first car i tinted was 20 all around with a dark red int. The next one had tan int and i did the back 5 and the front 20 and didn't like it minus the visual effect it gave the car. Night visability, backing up ect were horrible as one is to expect.

Guess i'll have to start looking for cops again during my commutes.

So i can ride around with no clothes on, Lol! I think it makes cars look good but here where i live it is illegal to have the front tinted dark. My friend got pulled over and the cop came up to him with a razor blade & said either you do or i will. I hate PA.

My buddies uncle got pulled over with tint and the sheriff was gonna write him a ticket so what he did is grabbed it and ripped it off. No ticket and made the sheriff stop and give a wtf look. lol
