ok so all these vids i c show the roofs flexing in an extreme amount! i just putt in sum new sube downfiring and i have no roof flex which i find AWESOME! no noise after two layers of deadening! so my deal is why does everyone like 2 c flex? i know my setup isnt the LOUDEST! but why? why u wana c the roof move like the cone?

because roof flex or any kind of flex means a good sign that you are loud...and if your flexing MAJOR means you beat down the block and you are LOUD AS HELL...haha..

Roof flex sucks when you break a roof brace then all you hear is metal slapping against metal.

x2 true on that...then it gets irritating..if your bumping music will your outside your ride

I actually made a support for the roof of my Jeep today to prevent this roof flex "issue" as I should say lol . Although it is fun to watch the roof take a beating . Ive noticed the low end(35hz and below) improves substantially when keeping constant upwards pressure on the roof . Its basically a lil stripper pole that fits in pretty well with the inside of the truck .

For the same reason they think "excursion vids" actually show anything meaningful about a sub's performance - they're uninformed.
