why do i keep burning up alternaters

I'mrunning 3 R.D audio 12"s on 3 power acoustik 5500's in a 1997 320 Benz.and I'm running a 280amp alternater.and it literally burns up d alternater within 1or 2 minutes of playing time. Any suggestions??????......could grounding be a issue???????

If someone installed it.. bring it back to them and make them fix it.. or have someone that knows what they doing look over everything
