Why do cashiers give you the bills, change, and receipt at the same time?

Alright I will give you the run down on how I do this since I am a cashier at Price Chopper. I am going to say more the half our cashiers are dumb ***** and have no brains. What I do is I give you the change first wait for you to put it in pocket then give you cash on top of your reseat. That is how you do it the right way!!!!

Happens to me all the time. I hate when they do that shit, but I usually get the last laugh.

I just flick back a penny and tell them here put this towards your college education.

Just stand there for a minute, look down at the ball of shit, and look at them like they just said something so outrageous that you can barely tolerate their existence, and say "WHAT THE **** IS THIS SHIT????" and throw the ball at their face as hard as you can and spit on them.

PS- Punch a baby on the way out, if possible.

If enough people follow these instructions carefully we will breed that behavior out of cashiers nationwide by morning.

eh. after pulling out your wallet to give them cash you can:

a)put your wallet in your back pocket and put the wad of cash in your front pocket

b)use a debit/credit card and just deal with a receipt

c)write a check and piss everyone else in line off and deal with getting a receipt (and possibly cash if you wrote for over the amount) (and getting your check back at walmart).

personally i use options A and B all the time (B mostly).

and yes, i've been a cashier too. i did it all the time to move on to the next customer (especially when you have 20 people in your line during the primetime rush).

When i was a cashier i would do that to get you out of the way and could deal with the next customer.

doesnt really work becuase when people do that i stay right where im at, put the coins down, put cash in my wallet, pick coins up, put in pocket, and i usually then just throw the reciept right there on the counter, while the cashier and the customer behind me is just looking at me waiting for me to get out of the way.

Most of the people who are cashiers know what's. We are just trying to move cattle through the line. The faster we can move the cattle the better we can do our jobs.

What Mugen doesn't understand tha 1 minute according to a clock is nearly 5 minutes. When a person walks into a retail establishment their concept of time goes out the window. Your method takes more time and gives an opportunity for theft. If you got 6 or 7 people in line, and your method takes 20 or 30 seconds longer, then the last person in line is waiting 2 or 3 minutes (and atleast 5-10 minutes in 'customer time')

When people do that thing that pimpedout 97x do, I open up the adjoining register and let them sit there. They can camp out for all I give a ****. You are just being a jackass for holding up the line.
