why do bass waves travel so far?

Why does bass travel so far and how come u can hear a car 2-3 blocks away from your house? The lower the frequency, the longer the wavelength... the more difraction, Lower notes can travel further than high notes.

How much power you give your subs (plus a ton of other factors) = how much bass your subs produce

and...

the bass your subs produce (plus a ton of other factors) = how far the bass will travel

why is the sky blue?

Ive heard 2 theories. (I think one is right I just forgot which one) But the sky is blue because:

1. The blue from the oceans is reflected from the sun to the sky (dont think this one is right)

2. Because of the Nitrogen in the Atmosphere that makes the sky look "blue" when the sun light passes through it.

Inverse square law. Radiation will disperse as a function of the power over the square of the distance from the emitter.
