Why best buy sucks?

Never have had Best Buy wire up anything. Alot of kids say to go there, while more car audio educated people say they ****. Well, I dont know how, or have the time to do it right now. And the place I got to install my HU and 6x9s didnt even do it right (I think). So its kind of my last resort....

If your just planning on doing a head Unit and 6x9" Best buy will be just fine... They back-up their work

I actually use to work for the installation bay at a best buy. It is not that they **** it is just that they dont have any common scenes the guy that I worked with just used pics of a computer to install a stereo while I knew what wires went were. We do a check list before and after we do an install.

Because they hire people with little to no knowledge of car audio, audio in general, or even basic wiring, and if they do happen to hire someone with the know how they get stuck stocking dvds. They push crappy products for more than they are worth, and you would be lucky to get even crimped connections. last thing car audio related I bought at best buy was a head unit adapter, and it was wired wrong.

I go to Brainerd International Raceway every year for the NHRA Lucas Oil Nationals. It's known as the rowdiest party on the NHRA pro circuit. The people who camp all make crazy vehicles to get drunk and drive around. We've got a big plan for a cool vehicle to roll around the camping area next year, and it just might include a wall of 6 x 9's lol.

my sister took her car a few years ago to get a headunit installed in her car.

My younger sister drives the car now, and i just recently installed a newer HU, amp, and subs in it.

Best buys connections for the headunit consisted of stripping wires, twisting the harness wires to the HU wires, then taping them. No butt connectors, no crimping, no soldering, nothing.
